How will you perform an experiment to show the presence of water vapor in air?

Solution

The following experiment can demonstrate the presence of water vapor in the air:

  1. Using a clean and dry cloth, thoroughly clean the surface of a steel container.
  2. Now add some ice to the jar and allow it to sit for a few minutes.
  3. After a few minutes, you'll notice that a large number of water droplets have formed on the container's outer surface.
  4. We can conclude from this that when atmospheric water vapor comes into contact with the cold steel container's outer surface, its physical state transforms from gas to liquid. condensation is the term for this process.
  5. Thus, by putting ice cubes in a container for a few minutes, we can illustrate the presence of water vapor in the air.
