Solution

You will polish copper on an iron vase by electroplating. Iron wase is connected to negative terminal of the battery and a copper rod is connected to positive terminal of the battery. They are dipped in aqueous copper sulphate solution. An electric current is passed. Copper rod dissolves in solution and cupric ions from solution are reduced to copper metal which is then deposited on iron wase.
