Solution
Chlorophyll:
The natural substance found in chlorophyll provides green plants with their color.
Plants' capacity to absorb solar energy is aided by the process of photosynthesis.
Green vegetables and other plant-based meals, such as algae, contain this vitamin.
Steps to remove chlorophyll from a leaf:
A medium-sized saucepan should be filled with two glasses of water and placed on the stove.
Increase the heat setting.
Take the pot off the stove.
The leaf should be removed with a slotted spoon.
Set a tall, heat-safe glass filled with 1 cup of rubbing alcohol in the center of the saucepan of boiling water.
We don't want any water to flow into the glass from the pot.
In the glass with the rubbing alcohol, place the leaf.
Make sure the rubbing alcohol completely covers the leaf.
Return after an hour to see how the leaf is doing.
The leaf's real color ought to now be visible.
It will now turn the rubbing alcohol green.
The removed chlorophyll is what causes the green in the rubbing alcohol.
