2. Magnetic separation: The process of separating the solid-solid mixture by using a magnet is called magnetic separation.
3. A mixture containing magnetic and non-magnetic components is spread over a piece of paper.
4. Afterwards, the magnet is moved over the piece of paper, close to the components of the mixture.
5. As a result, the magnetic components are attracted to the magnet and get separated, while the non-magnetic components are not attracted and remain in place.
