Solution

Dear Student

i) Let the solution evaporate. Salt will separate out.

ii) Add water to the mixture. iodine will dissolve in water. filter the solution, sand will remain and iodine will come out with water.

iii) Add water. Sugar will dissolve while sulfur would not. And then filter it, sugar will be separated from sulfur.

iv) Kerosene is insoluble in water. Use seperating funnel to seperate them.

v) In this mixture first take out iron by using magnet. Then add water and filter. Salt will dissolve in water and be filtered out.
then remains sand and sulfur. Then add Carbon disulfide solution, sulfur will dissolve in this solution while sand would not.
Filter it and sulfur will be seperated from sand.
