How will you show that acetic acid is acidic in nature

1. First one is via litmus test, blue litmus turns red when dipped in acetic acid. This shows its acidic nature.
2. When sodium bicarbonate is added to acetic acid, bubbles of CO2 appear, as effervescence. This sodium bicarbonate test proves acetic acid is acidic in nature.


CH3COOH + NaHCO3 ---> CH3COONa+ H2O + CO2
