Lemon is basically a citrus fruit, which contains an appreciable quantity of citric acid. we know that acids are good conductor of electricity when they are taken in aqueous solution.Here citric acid in the presence of water inside the lemon helps to lose hydrogen ions thus paving the way for conduction of electricity.
