How would you obtain a sample of sulphur from a mixture of sulphur and carbon?

Separation of sulfur from carbon particles and powdered roll sulfur can be done by filtration followed by evaporation.
Process: First dissolve the mixture into carbon disulphide ($C{S}_2$). The sulfur will dissolve and carbon will remain as residue. Filter it. Evaporate the filtrate to obtain sulfur.
