Solution

Howard Carter’s investigation was resented because during his research, he dismantled the entire body of the pharaoh, which left the mummy in a very bad condition. It was because of resins sticking to the mummy, Carter had to chisel away from beneath the limbs and trunk before it could be possible to raise the king's remains. To separate Tut from his adornments, Carter's men removed the mummy's head and separated almost all the major joints of his body. It is important to preserve our history as it is our legacy. It gives us an insight into our past and a lesson for the future.
