When human and mouse cells are treated with red and green dyes respectively, the membrane of the human cell will receive red color while that of the mouse cell will receive green color. When the two cells are fused and kept at 37oC, there will be movement of lipids along the fused membrane. So, in the new membrane the two dyes will be mixed up.
