Amoeboid movement involves streaming of protoplasm to form pseudopodia as seen in amoeba. Macrophages and leukocytes of the human body utilise this type of movement to get around the body.
Ciliary movement-This is seen in our respiratory tract where cilia use a windshield wiper or ciliary movement to move mucus along the tract.
The movement of our limbs, our jaw, eyes, tongue, etc- is muscular movement.
Flagellar movement- flagella is a hair like protrusion from the cell which acts as a tail and helps organisms swim. Sperm use this type of movement to swim in female genital tract, to reach the egg and fertilize it.
