"Humidity determines the amount of precipitation and relative humidity tells us about its possibility. How ?"

Relative humidity tells us about the precipitation because more moisture that air holds gives rise to more precipitation as The relative humidity determines the amount and rate of evaporation. If moisture is added by evaporation, the relative humidity will increase which increase the humidity and hence precipitation.
