2x-y=5y=2x-5 ...(i) 3x+2y=11 ...(ii)Substituting eq (i) in eq (ii), we get : 3x+22x-5=113x+4x-10=117x=21x=3Substituting x=3 in eq (i), we get : y=2×3-5 y=1Hence, x=3, y=1 is the solution of the given equations.
