Given, mass of sulphur =4.5 g
Mass of chlorine =10 g
So, mass ratio =4.5:10=9:20 [Statement II is false]
No. of moles of sulphur =4.532=0.14065 moles
No. of moles of chlorine=1035.5=0.2816 moles
So, moles ratio =S:Cl=0.14:0.28=1:2
So, the compound maybe SCl2
