Solution

The correct option is C Leucoplast
Plastids are membrane bound organelles found in plants, algae or some other eukaryotic cells. There are 3 major types of plastids depending upon the material they store within. Chloroplasts contain the pigment chlorophyll responsible for the photosynthesis and the green colour of leaves. Chromoplasts contain other pigments which result in the colour of flowers and petals. Leucoplasts on the other hand do not contain any pigment and are used to store starch, fat and proteins.
