Solution

The correct option is D Dandi
On 12th March, 1930, Mahatma Gandhi set out on a march from Sabarmati Ashram to Dandi, a small village on the Gujarat seacoast. The march started off small, with only 78 of his trusted followers. Each day, the group stopped in a different village along the route. They covered over 240 miles, and on April 5, the entourage reached Dandi. On the morning of 6th April, Gandhi evaporated seawater to make his own salt, and by doing so, he broke the Salt Law. The breaking of the Salt Law signaled the beginning of the Civil Disobedience Movement in the Indian subcontinent.
