ii) Chemical C1 or chemical C2

Open in App
Solution

We are given,
n(U)= No. of total
skin disorder
=200
n(C1)= skin disorder due to chemical C1
=120
n(C2)= skin disorder due to chemical C2
=50
Now, n(C1C2)= skin disorder due to both the chemical C2 & C2
=30
(i)
Now, we have to find the Number of individual exposed to chemical C2 but not chemical C1
i.e n(C2C1)=n(C2)n(C1C2)
=5030
n(C2C1)=20

(ii)
Now we have to find the number of individuals exposed to chemical C1 or chemical C2
i.e.,
n(C1C2)=n(C1)+n(C2)n(C1C2)
=120+5030
n(C1C2)=140
