The income of a man is increased in the ratio of 10:11. If the increase in his income is Rs.600 per month, find his new income.

Calculate the required income:

It is given that the income increases in the ratio of 10:11.

So, the original income per month =10x

And, the increased income per month =11x

Now, according to the question, the increase in income is Rs.600 per month.

i.e., increased income - original income =600

11x-10x=600

x=600

Therefore, the increased income per month =11x

the increased income per month =11×600

the increased income per month =6600

Hence, the new income is Rs.6600 per month.
