If to construct a quadrilateral, no angles and diagonals are given, it has to be rectangle. Since all sides of quadrilateral are not equal, it is not a square. The steps of construction are very simple

Method of construction:

Draw line segment BC of given rectangle side length. At B draw AB having length of 2^nd side of rectangle having angle ${90}^{\circ }$ with AB. From A draw an arc of length BC and from C draw an arc of length AB. Mark the meeting point of arcs as D. Complete rectangle ABCD.
