Solution

Total number of apples = 14

Number of apples that were spoilt = 14×27=4 apples.
Now, no. of apples left = 10 apples [1 mark]

Number of apples left, after selling
some = 10×15=2 apples. [1 mark]

Half of the 2 apples I gave to my friend, hence half of them left.

The number of apples left = 2×12=1 apple. [1 mark]

Therefore, only 1 apple is left with me now.

Now, cost of 12 apples = 126
Cost of 1 apple = 12612 = ₹10.5 [1 mark]
