Question

I have a hollow sphere filled with water. I roll it on a smooth surface and a rough surface.
Will the water inside the sphere rotate in any of the cases? If yes, why?
Will the rotation depend on the velocity with which the sphere is rolled or the nature of the surface on which it is rolled?

Solution

If water is completely compacted then there is no motion otherwise water also rotates because of the weight of water And yes rotation depend on the velocity with which the sphere is rolled or the nature of the surface on which it is rolled Hope u understand and like it
