Solution

The correct option is A International date line
If a flight is booked from Tokyo, Japan on Friday, 1st April, it arrives in San Francisco on Thursday, March 31st. The change in the date is due to the International Date Line or IDL. On moving from the west of the IDL to the East of the IDL you gain a day. A day is lost on crossing IDL from East to West.
