How are glasses (not sunglasses) made for people to see

Dear Student, For making lens glasses, first of all, a lens blank with proper curvature is selected by the technician. Then the optical centre is marked on lens that is exactly corresponding to the pupil of the patient. Then comes the grinding phase where lens is put in the generator for cutting. Then steps like polishing take place. Then the final step, i.e., edging is done to give a proper shape to the lens and then the lenses are checked for any scratches and optical centre is verified again. This is how the process of lens making takes place. Regards
