In ABO and DCO AOB = DOC (vertically opposite angles) BAO = DCO (alternate interior angles ) (AB ||CD) ABO = CDO (alternate interior angles ) (AB ||CD) Hence ABO and DCO are similar by AAA.
Therefore, ( corresponding parts of similar triangles)
