The correct option is D 3I2π2
Let mass of square plate be M and side be L.
So MI about axis passing through one of its side is ML2/3=I
Now when it is bend into a hollow cylinder, its mass remain same as M and radius is given as 2πr=Lr=L/2π
So MI about axis touching its surface is 2Mr2=2ML2/4π2=(ML2/3)×(3/2π2)=3I/2π2
