I know that if A is more reactive than B
then- metal A + salt of metal B = metal B + salt of metal A
What would happen if B is more reactive than A ?
And how ?

If metal B is more reactive than metal A. metal A + salt of metal B = metal B + salt of metal A Then above reaction will not occur. This is a displacement reaction, in which more rective displaces the less reactive element from its salt.
