A voltmeter is an instrument used for measuring electrical potential difference between two points in an electric circuit. An ammeter is a measuring device used to measure the electric current in a circuit.
Energy obtainable from water flow or water falling from a higher potential to lower potential, is known is hydro- power. It is a conventional and renewable form of energy which can be transmitted to long distance through cables and wires.
Energy obtained from sun is known as Solar energy. It is non-conventional, renewable and inexpensive energy source.
