I read that
S=Ut+1/2(at)2
Is dimensionally correct and physically wrong.
Could you explain what is the meaning behind
the term 'physically'?

Physically, you can not compare distance(S) to Velocity(U), Acceleration(A) and Time(T) as they are different physical quantities. That being said, you can compare S,U,A and T dimensionally as they collectively equate to a dimension of space(S-Distance/Displacement).
