Reduce the following rational number in its lowest form:
$\frac{-60}{72}$

$\frac{-60}{72}$ can be written as
$=\frac{-60÷12}{72÷12}$ [dividing numerator and denominator by HCF of -60 and 72 = 12]
$=\frac{-60\times \frac{1}{12}}{72\times \frac{1}{12}}$ [$\because$ Reciprocal of 12 = $\frac{1}{12}$]
$=\frac{-5}{6}$, which is the lowest form.
