. Money spent on younger $=\frac{1}{6}$.

So, total money spent $=\frac{2}{5}+\frac{1}{8}+\frac{1}{6}$

$=\frac{2\times 24}{5\times 24}+\frac{1\times 15}{8\times 15}+\frac{1\times 20}{6\times 20}$ [LCM (least common multiple) of $5,8$ and $6$ is $120$]

$=\frac{48}{120}+\frac{15}{120}+\frac{20}{120}$

$$\begin{gathered} =\frac{48+15+20}{120} \\ =\frac{83}{12} \end{gathered}$$

Hence, in total he spent $\frac{83}{120}$ pocket money.
