(i) The length of a bridge is 500 metre long. How many buses can stand on the bridge if the bus length is 5 m long?

(ii) Sneha walks 425 meters every day. Find out the total distance covered by her in 19 days.

(i) 100
(ii) 8075 metres

Explanation:
(i) Length of the bridge = 500 m
Length of each bus = 5 m
Number of buses that can stand on the bridge = Length of the bridge ÷ Length of each bus (1 Mark)
= 500 m ÷ 5 m
= 100
(1 Mark)

(ii) Distance walked by Sneha each day = 425 metres
Number of days Sneha walked = 19 days
Total distance walked = 425 × 19 (1 Mark)
= 8075 metres
(1 Mark)
