Solution

The correct option is B RuBisCO
RuBisCO stands for Ribulose Bisphosphate Carboxylase Oxygenase. It is formed from Ribulose bisphosphate (RuBP) - a five-carbon ketose sugar. RuBisCO is the most abundant enzyme on earth. It is chatacterised by the fact that its active site can bind both CO2 and O2, hence the name. It has a great affinity for CO2 and O2 and the binding is competitive. It is the relative concentration of CO2and O2 that determines which of the two will bind to the enzyme. RuBisCO carries out more carboxylation in C4 plants because these plants have a mechanism that increase the concentration of CO2 at the enzyme site.
Rubisco enzyme is the most abundant in nature, which have binding site for O2 and CO2.
Rubisco is found in chloroplast of all photosynthetic plants.
The enzyme ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate carboxylase/oxygenase, most commonly known by the shorter name RuBisCO or just rubisco is used in the Calvin cycle to catalyze the first major step of carbon fixation.
