Question 106 (i)
The students of Anuj's class sold posters to raise money. Anuj wanted to create a ratio for finding the amount of money her class would make for different numbers of posters sold. She knew they could raise ₹ 250 for every 60 posters sold.
How much money would Anu's class make for selling 102 posters?
Given, ₹ 250 for every 60 posters sold.
So from 1 poster Anuj's class students raise
=₹ 25060=₹ 256
If Anuj's class sell 102 posters, then they raise
=₹ 256×102=17×25=₹ 425
Hence Anuj's class makes ₹ 425 for selling of 102 posters.
