The correct option is B Treaty of Amritsar
The treaty of Amritsar was signed between the British and Maharaja Ranjit Singh. After the Maharaja tried to capture Malwa and attacked it several times, the British interfered and stopped him from doing so. Maharaja Ranjit Singh knew about the weaknesses of his army and agreed to sign the treaty of Amritsar which made Satluj the boundary and allowed the British to control the Malwa region without interfering in Ranjit Singh's affairs. This stopped the expansion of the Maharaja's territories to the south of the Satluj but allowed him to expand it to the north of it, due to which he was able to capture Kashmir and Peshawar.
