Solution

The correct option is B Third Sangam
Tamil Sangams were assemblies of scholars and poets. Scholars believe that these assemblies were originally referred to as kootams or 'gatherings'. According to sources, there were a total of three Sangam periods, with the last being called the Third Sangam period. It was held in present-day Madurai. All or majority of what we now know as Sangam literature is said to have been sourced from this period.
