The correct option is C Dara Shikoh
Shah Jahan favoured his eldest son, Dara Sikhoh, to take over the kingdom, which was resented by the other three brothers. When Shah Jahan fell ill in September 1657 CE, Dara was at his bedside in Agra. Upon hearing of Shah Jahan's illness, Murad joined forces with Aurangzeb, who was already marching towards Agra. The joint forces of Aurangzeb and Murad defeated the imperial forces led by their eldest brother, Dara. Aurangzeb consolidated his power by causing one brother's death and having two other brothers (Dara Sikhoh and Murad), a son, and a nephew executed.
