(i) Waste segregation is important because the method of treating waste depends on the nature of waste like solid waste, liquid waste, biodegradable and non­-biodegradable waste.

(ii) Nuclear wastes are harmful because they can cause serious health hazards to the human body and environment if not disposed of properly.

(iii) As a student, I can segregate the waste into biodegradable and a non-biodegradable waste of my house, reduce the water by incineration and recycle it.
