(i) Weight of one apple = 400 g
Weight of 12 apples=12 × 400 g = 4800 g = 4.8 kg
(ii) 1 kg = 1000g
4 kg =4 × 1000 g = 4000g
Weight of one apple= 400 g
Number of apples =total weightweight of one apple=4000 g400 g=10 apples
