They allow controlled movement of parts in which it is present, for example, hands, legs, shoulders etc.	They are present in the gastrointestinal tract	Cardiac muscles as the name suggests are present in the heart.

There are three different types of muscular tissue, cardiac muscle, smooth muscle & skeletal muscle.

Cardiac muscles are striated, branched & have a central nucleus, these are attached at their ends to adjoining fibers by intercalated discs.
