(A) Electromagnetic theory
(1) Light Travels in the form of waves of very small wave length
(2) Energy of radiation is directly Proportional to intensity if radiation
This theory failed to explain black body radiation.
Plank's Quantum of Radiation:-
(1) Radiation has energy
(2) Energy of photon E=hv
E=nhv,n=1,2,3
(B) It is according to the rules of electronic configuration and it does not violate any rule.
