(i) Side of the square = 20$÷$ 4 = 5 cm

Area of the square $=5^2=25c{m}^2$

(ii)

Given, Length of rectangular box = 50 cm
Breadth of rectangular box = 30 cm

For putting a wire around a rectangle shaped box we need to know the perimeter of the rectangular box.

Perimeter of rectangular box
= 2 (length + breadth)
=2 (50 + 30)
= 2 (80) = 160 cm

1 cm of wire costs ₹ 20.
$\therefore$ Cost for 160 cm of wire
$=160\times 20$
= ₹3200
