(i) Activated charcoal is used in gas masks to absorb poisonous gases and prevent the workers from being inhaled.
(ii) When FeCl3 is added to NaOH solution, a negatively charged sol is obtained with adsorption of OH ions. Sol is represented as Fe2O3.xH2O/OH
(iii) High temperature is favourable for adsorption. It increases with the increase of temperature.
