Solution

(i)

We know that, 1 kg=1000 g

Let x% of 1 kg be 125 g.
x100×1000 g=125 g

x×10=125

x=12510

x=12.5

i.e., 12.5% of 1 kg is 125 g

(ii)

Let x% of 80 m be 24 m.
x100×80 m=24 m

4x5=24

4x=24×5

x=24×54

x=6×5

x=30
i.e., 30% of 80 m be 24 m.
