  • (i) Starch is polysaccharide that is polymer of αDglucose and βDglucose
  • Maltose - Disaccharide ( αDglucose+βDglucose)
  • Fructose and glucose are monosaccharides.
  • (ii) Native proteins are proteins which are in their folded and/or assembled form and are fully functional
  • Denaturated proteins are inactive proteins in which all the biological properties of the proteins are lost.
  • (iii) Vitamin-K is responsible for the coagulation of blood, it maintains the clotting factor named prothrombin.
