$\left(ii\right)$ $\left(a\right)$ Cationic detergents$-$ Cationic detergent is a type of detergent in which the active part of the molecule is a positive ion $($cationic$).$ Cationic detergents are usually quaternary ammonium salt of acetate, chloride, bromides, etc$.$

$\left(b\right)$ Anionic detergents$-$ Any detergent in which the liophilic part of the molecule is an ion$.$

Examples$-$ include soaps and synthetic long chain suphates and sulphonates, phosphorus acid esters, and carboxylic acid salts$.$
