ii) (A) and (B) react with chromic acid solution. (B) gives an acid (D).
iii) Reactivity with HBr is: C>AB. All give the same compound, C5H11Br(E).
iv) Only (A) is oxidised by NaOI.

So, since (B) on oxidation gives acids since it is primary alcohal. (A) gives ketone upon oxidation since it is secondary, and also reducesNaOI (Haloform test) to give CHI3 and corresponding acid, since (A) has (CH3|OHCH) group.
