The three main pairs of salivary glands are the parotid glands, the sublingual glands, and the submaxillary glands.
The parotid glands, the largest of the pairs, are located just below and in front of each ear.
The submaxillary glands, also called submandibular glands, are the second largest of the three main salivary glands & are located along the side of the lower jawbone.
The sublingual gland is the smallest of the three major salivary glands & are located under the tongue.
