Solution

(i) Principle of 'Stability of Personnel' is violated. According to Fayol, employee turnover should be minimised to maintain organisational efficiency. Therefore, suppose an individual gets selected for a post, then he should be given appropriate time to prove his abilities. We can say, he should be kept at the post for a minimum fixed tenure. This ensures stability and thus he can get a proper time to explore his skills.

Negative impact of violating this principle are:

(a) Increase in labour turnover.

(b) Increased cost of recruitment

(ii) Principle of 'Equity' is violated. This principle emphasises kindliness and justice in the behaviour of managers towards workers. It will bring loyalty and devotion in the behaviour of employees and they will put their best to achieve the targets. There should be no discrimination against anyone on account of sex, religion, language, caste or belief and equal opportunities should be available for all.

Negative impact of violating this principle are:

(a) Dissatisfaction among employees leading to greater turnover.

(b) Poor relations between workers and managers.
