Traffic rules are defined as laws that are needed to govern how, when and why you are allowed to drive any vehicle. Traffic signs are important as they play an important role in shaping people’s mind while they are on the road.

The three types of traffic signs are:

• Mandatory signs give order regarding do’s and dont’s and are to be followed strictly. These signs are mostly circular in shape. For example the stop sign.
• Next type is the cautionary road signs that warn the road user regarding the road situation coming ahead. For example the left curve ahead road sign.
• Lastly, informatory road signs are the ones that give information regarding directions, parking destinations and other useful stops like a petrol pump or a hospital.

Now coming to the second part of the question, let us discuss the road signs given to us in the question.

• The first image depicts a No U-turn which commands the driver to not take a U-turn from the upcoming cut ahead.
• The second image gives the order of a no entry up ahead. This sign commands the driver not to enter the road ahead. Both types of road signs are mandatory in nature.
• The third image is a cautionary road sign which tells the driver that there is a cross road ahead. A cross road is a place where two roads intersect. The driver has to be alert while driving through cross roads as there may be other vehicles crossing. Accidents mostly occur on cross roads due to drivers negligence.
