Evaporation is a vapourization process which occurs on the surface of a liquid as it turns into a gas. We can use this to separate salt and water as water will evaporate leaving the salt behind.
Sublimation is the process where a substance converts from the solid state directly to the gaseous state without becoming a liquid. A mixture of salt and camphor can be separated by sublimation, as the camphor will undergo sublimation and turn into a gas. The salt particles will be left behind.
Centrifugation is a process of spinning the mixture in order to separate out its components. This happens because of the difference in densities. Proteins and fats have different densities, so centrifugation can be used to separate them.
